Memorial Hospital was one of only two organizations in the state to receive a 2009 Psychologically Healthy Workplace Award from the Pennsylvania Psychological Association.
The award recognizes businesses that are committed to the work related well-being of employees and set the standard for other companies to follow.
Memorial was honored at a banquet in Harrisburg earlier this summer.
"We are very proud to receive this designation," said Sally Dixon, president and CEO. "I believe Memorial's family atmosphere is the greatest psychological benefit we offer to each other."
