Our Mission
Memorial Hospital Auxiliary is a volunteer-driven organization committed to providing volunteer and financial support to Memorial Hospital and the community it serves through outreach, education and fundraising.
About Us
Since its inception in 2000, the Memorial Hospital Auxiliary has grown to appeal to a broader group of friends, as well as address a wider range of community needs. If you decide to become a member of the Auxiliary, you may choose your level of involvement. You are not required to attend monthly meetings or to sign-up for committee work unless you want to.
This past year the Auxiliary re-directed its focus area to concentrate its fundraising efforts for programs to benefit children including:
- CPR training for parents, grandparents and teachers
- Nutrition awareness
- Assistance with childhood diabetes education
- Offer breastfeeding bags to new mothers
- Collaborating with the American Red Cross to teach the importance of hand washing and hame safety to elementary students by creating an educational coloring book
- Supply hand wipes to help prevent the spread of germs and illness to a local elementary school
With these increasing community needs, the Auxiliary is working with the Wellness Center at Memorial Hospital to determine how they can help in these areas that effect so many of us and our families.
With your paid membership you will be invited to various events throughout the year. You may also choose to become a committee member. Each committee meets once a month. You can also volunteer your time at a one-time event. Please contact the Community Relations Department at
