Memorial Hospital’s Radiology services include: diagnostic radiology procedures, mammography, dexascanning, ultrasound and interventional/angiography procedures, as well as a private in-house C.T. scanner. Professional services and interpretations of radiological examinations are provided by Board Certified Radiologists and all Technologists providing imaging services have the proper training and are registered in their field of expertise. Memorial’s Radiology services are available 24-hours-a-day.
Memorial Hospital added on-site magnetic resonance imaging services (MRI) for inpatients and outpatients.
MRI is a non-invasive technology that provides superior anatomical images previously unavailable and is considered among the most significant advances in medical technology since the discovery of x-rays. For patients, MRI has the potential to eliminate the need for numerous exploratory surgical procedures.
