| Program Overview |
Memorial Hospital’s Job Shadowing experience gives students and adults considering a career change a meaningful introduction to clinical and non-clinical careers in health care. It helps the participant identify career interests and gives them an awareness of the academic, technical and personal skills required by particular jobs in the health care environment. The primary objective of the program is to have the participant observe the knowledge and skills used every day on the job.
Memorial Hospital has both a long-term job shadowing program and a short-term experience. Job Shadowing Option I is an extended program with an observation period of six weeks. Job Shadowing Option II is a limited day or hour observation program.
