INTERNSHIP
Memorial Hospital has a strong 60-year tradition of providing quality internship training. The program offers a balance of clinical patient management and daily didactics. Memorial Hospital offers a transitional internship. The curriculum includes internal medicine, critical care, family medicine, general and subspecialty surgery, emergency medicine, pediatrics, biopsychosocial sciences, obstetrics / gynecology, anesthesiology, radiology, pathology and hospice.

Additionally, the internship program features:
- Morning reports and lectures;
- Family practice and medical grand rounds;
- Tumor board;
- CME programs;
- Departmental lectures;
- Departmental journal clubs (Harrison and Sabiston);
- A well-equipped library staffed by a librarian;
- Linked internship to residency positions; and
- Program approval has been granted by the AOA Committee on Postdoctoral Education, the Pennsylvania Osteopathic Medical Association, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Medicaid and Medicare.
