Opportunities to Give
Memorial Hospital is committed to improving the health of the community we serve. The hospital is a nonprofit organization that gratefully accepts donations. Below is a list of some of the most common funds donors may support. We also work individually with donors to help them discover how they would like to support our mission. There are a number of ways you can help:
Area of Greatest Need
Allow us to put your donation to good use in the area where it is needed most at the time of your gift.
Healthy Kids Annual Giving Campaign
This campaign raises money for equipment needed in the Outpatient Clinic, Emergency Department and Family Birth Center because these are where Memorial treats more than 3,500 uninsured and underinsured children each year.
Cancer Patient Fund
This fund benefits Memorial Hospital patients undergoing treatment for cancer. Donations directly benefit the patients and their families and help them to pay rent, utilities, medication costs, and other essentials. The Cancer Patient Help Fund assists patients with their financial concerns, so they can focus on healing.
Capital Fund
To continue to be on the cutting edge of advances in health care, Memorial Hospital invests part of its resources each year into purchasing new equipment. There are always additional items that cannot be funded through our capital budget that would improve our services.
Endowment Fund
Donors may choose to provide for the future of Memorial Hospital by contributing to a fund that continues to grow its principle, while providing immediate support through investment payments.
