For Your Safety
For Your Safety
Through our system of checks and balances, policies and procedures, Memorial Hospital is continually striving to provide safe and effective medical care for our patients.
Fire Drills
For your protection, the Hospital regularly conducts fire and disaster drills. If a drill occurs during your Hospital stay, please remain in your room and do not become alarmed. Our staff is trained in fire safety and emergency management and will keep you informed of developments during the drill.
Security Guards and Car Security
Our security staff is on the premises - in the Hospital and on the grounds - 24-hours-a-day, seven-days-a-week. If assistance is required, please dial "777" from within the Hospital.
Smoking Policy
Because we care about your health and the health of others, tobacco use of any kind is prohibited within all Memorial Hospital Systems owned and leased buildings and properties or vehicles. The use of tobacco products on contiguous property, perimeter sidewalks and streets, and all other public access adjacent to Memorial Health Systems property is strongly discouraged. We appreciate your cooperation and compliance.
Personal Electric Appliances
Patients are asked not to bring personal electric appliances to the Hospital because, although many of these appliances are safe for use at home, they are not compatible with the Hospital environment.
