Two members of the Memorial Hospital family - Marcia Feehan and Dr. Gregory Smolin - were honored in March at the Healthcare Heroes awards ceremony.  The awards competition, sponsored by Central Penn Parent, was designed to recognize Central Pennsylvania's outstanding physicians, nurses, volunteers, health educators and organizations making a difference in health care. 

Marcia, nurse manager in the Emergency Department, was a finalist for Nurse of the Year, and Dr. Smolin was a finalist for Physician of the Year.  Marcia was the highest scoring finalist in her category and was named Nurse of the Year.
