Memorial Hospital Auxiliary
Our Mission
Memorial Hospital Auxiliary is a volunteer-driven organization committed to providing volunteer and financial support to Memorial Hospital and the community it serves through outreach, education and fundraising.
About Us
Women and men of all ages, occupations and backgrounds have joined the Memorial Hospital Auxiliary to address the growing health needs of our community. You can volunteer on one of the Auxiliary committees, which meet monthly to plan fundraising and community health events.
Benefits of Joining
The greatest benefit of membership is having a hand in improving the health of your community by supporting Memorial Hospital. The Auxiliary is also a great way to make new friends and network with other members.
Auxiliary members are also invited to attend the Annual Meeting each spring, which features a delicious meal and guest speaker. Periodically, members are able to see exclusive “sneak peeks” and tours as Memorial Hospital continues to grow.
Our Accomplishments
Thanks to the dedication of our members, the Auxiliary is able to:
  • Support Memorial Hospital community health and education programs.
  • Grant nursing scholarships to individuals seeking to become a registered nurse or obtain a bachelors or masters degree in nursing.
  • Promote public health through annual events
The Auxiliary has supported Memorial Hospital’s Diabetes Family Fun Day for children. Children attending the event enjoy entertainment and sugar-free snacks while spending the day making new friends with other children with diabetes.
Runners and walkers stay fit while participating in the Auxiliary’s annual Ladies 5K.
Memorial Hospital Auxiliary made a three-year commitment to Memorial Hospital’s “Kids in the Kitchen.” The program teaches elementary school children about nutrition and healthy food choices.
Please contact the Community Relations Department at 849-5492 if you have any questions.
