Over the past three years, Memorial Health Systems leadership has followed a strategic plan designed to expand key service lines and recruit physicians, effectively growing the hospital's business and positioning it for expansion into a new, replacement hospital. To date, more than 20 specialists, family physicians and physicians' assistants have joined Memorial Hospital. In addition, the Hospital has opened three new specialty offices - York Heart and Vascular Specialists, York Urology Specialists and York OB/GYN Specialists - and a new family practice in Red Lion, Windsor Commons Family Practice. These practices give York County residents better access to care and specialists in their own community.
Memorial expanded the cardiovascular service line by opening a new Heart and Vascular Center that provides specialized cardiac and vascular care. MHS also purchased the latest generation da Vinci Si Robotic Surgical System for minimally invasive surgeries to expand our surgical service line. Memorial provides minimally invasive surgery for a broad range of procedures and has the only surgeon in York County who performs prostatectomies with the da Vinci Si. In addition, Memorial joined the Spirit of Women, a network of more than 90 hospitals around the country to grow the women's health service line.
